Okay, been MIA because we got the restaurant closed and moved to central Florida. It's a long story, but we're moved now and so far it is nice to just have the time off. We're enjoying ourselves after the chaotic few years we've had. Of course, if I never seen another moving box after packing and unpacking both the restaurant and the house, I'll be ( Read more... )

YAY! All moved! I hate moving. Unpacking is more fun than packing. *nods* It seems as if you can take your time. I dunno.

It's good that you will chill before you say anything, honey, because I'd hate for you to get more upset about this. I have been sending prayer and comforting, encouraging thoughts for you and your family while you were going through this moving ordeal. I know it was a lot. *hugs you tight*

Try and look at the de-friending as though maybe it was time for THEM to move on. Absolutely nothing to do with you. *nods* You still have us that care. *more hugs*

Yes, moving sucks. . .But, it feels nice when it is done and everything is new and organized. . .

And thank you for the thoughts. . . that means a lot to me! It really does. . .

I know, I should probably take the high road on the defriending. . .But, I dunno. . . Every once in a while something will happen in fandom that has me wanting to walk the low road just because I need to get it off my chest as bluntly and to the point as possible. . . This is likely one of those times. . .

Good to see you back, Kele...about the defriending...their loss. I hope C FL works out for you and your family and that you don't have to move again anytime in the future before you really want to!

I had to do some defriending recently but I was having stuff from locked posts thrown in my face on strangers' LJs and even stuff I've never said thrown at me because they thought I'd probably have said that sort of thing 'knowing me as they do'

So I cut right back and I know we don't chat much on each others LJs but I know you aren't one of those people so never thought to cut you.
