lee. to cure yourself of this, all you have to do is do one outrageous thing that you said you would never do once every about week or so. try new things and live life by the seat of your pants. thats what i do and it seems to work and cure me of my urge to "live life to the fullest". but, for some reason, i dont see my philosiphy working for you. because we are nothing alike. but we are definately both coolsters. <3 Ann-e-mal
I think we all feel that way at some points in our lives. I feel that way even now sometimes (fodder for a completely different conversation). I agree with Anne that the only way to cure it is to live life to it's fullest. Sometimes, with a little self-evaluation, we realize that we already are living to the fullest point possible for that moment. But life is constantly changing. So what exactly do you think you're missing out on? Is there anything you can do to change it? If so, DO IT! If not, move on to the next great moment. -M'Ange
I'd agree with "M'ange" that this is an unfortunately common thing, especially the older you get. I like relating it to Christmas. When you realize that you ask for less and less stuff, and less and less flashy/expensive stuff, it's a sign that you're looking for something and, thank goodness, it can't merely be appeased by something in shiny wrapping paper.
I'd like to see you at least once during the thanksgiving break. You're supposed to tell me about a dream you had (if you haven't forgotten it by now - you told me about it the 18th so who knows) and I'd wanted to tell you something after the show last Saturday, but I've since forgotten. I guess it wasn't incredibly important but I'm disappointed that I'd forgotten to tell you. Ah well.
