Cradle to Cradle I'm halfway through this book. It's a surprisingly cheery read about our "disposable" society. Maybe I'm just finding it cheerful because it echoes a lot of my views on the world. Point being that products should be designed taking into account what happens to them once they've served their purpose. We need to re-think the concept

hehe library copy :) i had to put a hold on it to get it, apparently quite popular!

i poked around a bit yesterday on their website, they have a certification now for products that are designed with re-use and healthy materials in mind. http://www.mbdc.com/certified.html some interesting ideas there.
