Character Biography/Profile/History: Christopher Summers, a test pilot in the United States Air Force; and Katherine Summers brought Scott into the world on June 23rd, 1988. He grew up in Alaska and eventually gained a little brother years later that they named Alexander. The family was happy and like any other.
Until the flight.
The Summers were on their way back from taking a vacation, Christopher flying his vintage de Havilland Mosquito, when something went wrong and the plane caught fire. Katherine immediately thought of her sons and pushed Scott and Alex from the plane with a parachute. Luckily, the chute broke their fall and there wasn’t a whole lot of damage beyond a few bumps. With Alex only being six and Scott only being almost ten, it was hard for them to understand it all.
Their parents were never found at the crash site, but assumed dead. Scott and Alex were put in the care of the government, only to be put into an orphanage in Nebraska. Alex was quickly adopted by a couple, but Scott wasn’t. He was there until the age of sixteen - that’s when he ran off.
A few weeks after running off, his power reared its head. He ended up blasting a crane, causing it to drop its payload towards a crowd of onlookers. Scott saved the crowd by blasting the load, but everyone took it that he was trying to harm them. After this, he got on a train and moved on again.
Little did Scott know, his power caught the attention of Professor Charles Xavier. He was looking for the boy with the help of an F.B.I agent. When he eventually found him, he offered Scott enrollment in Xavier’s Institute and to be the first of the future X-Men. Scott took the man’s offer.
He went through school at Xavier’s and when he finished with high marks, immediately went to get a teaching degree in college because he too wanted to teach at the Institute. Overtime he grew close to Jean Grey and, after much back and forth along with some worry that Warren Worthington was interested in her; he asked her out.
Currently, Scott is soon to turn twenty three and teaching at the Institute. He’s also leading the X-Men, but they haven’t gone against too many baddies yet. Oh, and he’s hidden his motorcycle from Logan.
