So, I was here in Detroit for awhile getting a pretty nice vibe; the Dalley in the Alley was really hip. But as time goes on, it feels more and more poisonous. For having the highest black population by percentage of any city (85%) and the highest arab concentration, everyone seems very unaccepting, very judgemental. So after driving down to Detroit on way too nice of days a few too many times, an excellent apartment has been found. It's about $50-100 more than we really wanted to pay, but the quality of housing below $550 gets pretty shitty. So it's got this super nice kitchen and an old bathroom and this sun room.
