I'm struggling getting my head into this pregnancy. I know I'm pregnant. I've heard the baby's heartbeat. I've been sick and tired. I've announced it to people. I've heard congratulations and seen other's excitement. All this, and the coming child still isn't real to me.

It took me longer to adjust to my second pregnancy, too. Just be patient with yourself. I think it's partially because the second one doesn't have the same novelty as the first one.

Maybe it's like when you apply for a loan for a house, and GET IT... it takes time to believe, holy cow, I own a HOME? (or CAN...) -not that I have been there, but you know ( ... )

I think that we share similar concepts that very important or highly desired achievements, things, relationships, etc., are more "real" if we had to struggle for them, while we might expect simple things to come easily and quickly. Sometimes we are surprized to have the good fortune to get what we really want without great effort. You can be happy.
