I don't really have a day job, but I understand what you're saying about emotional baggage. My mother reminded me that in a community this small I'll probably be dealing with people I exclusively know. I have to be honest, it didn't set me back whatsoever. I've never really cared about most of these people, so thinking of them as a shell of their former selves once they've passed away shouldn't be too much of an obstacle.

As far as the tuition goes, I'm not sure if the guy planned to grandfather me in or really pay for anything. He said that it would be when things 'pick up'. Hahah.

PS I haven't forgotten about your tarot card reading. I may go do that right now.
