Even though Sakura Matsuri felt closed in this year, I still had a blast last Saturday. I need to get more pictures of the festival. Next year, the National Cherry Blossom Festival is going to be five weeks. Sakura Matsuri is usually the end piece of it. This weekend should be busy for me as I will be dealing with going to Sakura Matsuri on Saturday. It is one of the Highlights of my fannish year, as much so as Otakon (not quite as much as Anime USA, though). It is where people reach out and want to explore Japanese culture. This weekend went fine for me except for seeing Rango. I should have not seen Rango this weekend. It was one of those films that I didn't enjoy and just gave up. Katsucon was an interesting weekend in a good way. I won't talk about the week before that because it involved family and most of my friends already know about it.
