Wow, I'm on the edge of my chair over here! What I love about this section . . . is endless. But I especially love the way you're working *with* canon to create something totally new. Cause it's true that Roslin and Adama were stiff-lipped with each other after the exodus from NC. They didn't talk about their experiences. And how do you begin a conversation like that? You've laid out such a beautiful way for it to begin. Their playful natures exist alongside their more serious sides. The water fight was just glorious, and it really capitalized on the way they laugh! We have only a few scenes from canon where they crack belly laughs, and even fewer where they share the belly laugh with each other. The silence, the laughter, and the beginnings of a serious conversation about "things," were blended together so perfectly in this section!!! "How does one deal with trauma?" is such an interesting question, and I LOVE it that part of your answer involves laughter and trust as coping mechanisms. And as the first steps toward
