I'm back from Dragon*Con!

Omg I miss it already.

I had an amazing time and just so you know, I asked EJO THAT question :)

I asked him firstly if he thought that there were any aspects of Laura Roslin and William Adama that current politicians could learn from. His reply was to laugh and go 'Yeah!' and then he started talking about how great Mary ( Read more... )

It was scary! Not because he's scary, no way, he puts you at ease so quickly :) It's just that standing there infront of so many people is a bit daunting. Plus, hearing your own voice on loud speaker is so strange LOL! Then when I got back to the room it turned out that my friend had been watching it on TV and was like 'Hey! That's my friend talking on there!' :)

Apparently he said some very flattering things about her over the weekend, about loving her lots etc and I thought that was sweet. I think I missed a panel somewhere along the line where he said that, but it's obvious whenever he talks about her that he genuinly means all of the nice things he says. His face lights up when he talks about working with her. I think perhaps they're a very positive influence on each other and working together is a catalyst for their already amazing talent as individual actors.

He said (I didn't get it recorded as I was asking it, but someone from Bamberbunnies recorded it so fingers crossed we'll get to see it) that (paraphrased)....

::EJO smiles:: Well...::more smiles:: that's a spoiler, so I can't tell you that.

LMAO!!

I'm totally lost... what THAT means? O_O

I think perhaps it'll make more sense when the people who recorded it, upload the video of the q&a :)

They aren't allowed to talk about spoilers at Dragon*Con, so if there was nothing to talk about he'd simply say 'nothing happens'. But by saying that he can't talk about the A/R relationship, blatently means that there is a spoiler in there somewhere that is so big that he can't even hint at it. At least that is my opinion.

ok ok... thank you. Well, I guess we'll get some couple scenes in Season 4.5 *wink*

If we don't, I'm going to be VERY surprised. :) Even if it's just a scene or two of them being seen as a couple by everyone, just being accepted as a couple in love or having time to spend together. I think we'll get at least that.

Wow, I am so jealous right now! Glad you had a really awesome time though!

Did Eddie seem excited over A/R, like when you asked the question, and he said about spoilers, what was his reaction?

Looks like he really enjoys working with Mary, he has a lot of praise for her. Would love to see them together at a convention.

So his hands were soft ;-)

Yeah, his hands are very soft. :) I swear, it took all my stength not to beg him to come back to England with me ( ... )

It would have taken all my strength not to faint..let alone beg him to come back to England (or france) with me ;-) I joke I am sure I would be calm and collected until after the event! LOL

I really believe you can tell when he genuinely isn't happy with something, and he has already said that we would be happy when asked if A/R have sex by another person earlier this weekend. LOL! Thats a good sign right?
I think also he would have said something like prepare yourselves, although he doesn't give away plots he gives away more by mere comments like that. If he looked calm and relaxed thats because we will get what we all want.

So anyway, I have never been to a convention, I would love to go to one. What is it really like? Relaxed, people nice etc? If EJO and Mary were doing one together I would seriously consider going.

It was all kinds of awesome. People there are great! Friendly, welcoming, helpful and total geeks so I fitted right in :) In fact, I had to geek it up a little :) The dealers rooms are fun, I bought some funny tshrits :)

I think that regardless of how BSG ends for A/R, whether they die or just one of them dies or even if one kills the other, I think we can expect at least some nice screen time for their relationship before hand.

Thanks for sharing.

I have heard about her cracking up and them having to stop, I was also told that when she corpses so does everyone else as her laugh is so infectious. lol

Eddie is truly lovely, When I met him he was just so gracious and nice.

I think he might be exaggerating, but he said something about Mary's laughter being the kind that shuts down the set for three hours while people try to stop laughing and that she's always the one that starts everyone else off laughing. He seemed to want to laugh just thinking about it :) I like that, it's good to have friends who make you laugh and smile.

I dont think he is exaggerating much, as thats practically word for word what someo of the others have said.

James Callis is one of the worst to start her off as he does impressions of the others.Him doing Eddie while filming cos eddie had gone off set and they hadnt finished the scene sent her into hysterics.. (it was the pegasus flightdeck scene, so everyone was there and they all started laughing. JC slid along took eddies place and did his lines in his script) Apparently Michelle Forbes didnt know wtf was going on. lol

By exagerating, I mean the 'three hours' thing :) But who knows, maybe her laughter IS that infectious :) I'd like the think so, laughter is good for people and three hours of gigglefit can only be good LOL!

James Callis is so nice but he didn't get much of a word in during the panels I went to as Aaron Douglas is very chatty. :) Funny, but a lot chattier than James Callis. Luckily we got EJO alone this morning and he really is a joy to listen to.
