Time to celebrate!
Since February 1st, I have lost 31 lbs. It hasn't been easy, since my back won't let me exercise. A bunch of women at work organized a weekly weight-watchers meeting. Sleep Apnea
It turns out I have sleep apnea. I would fall asleep at work, driving, in the dr's office, etc. I spent the night at a sleep clinic and they say I stop breathing 16 times per hour and wake-up 29 times per hour. So now I have to wear a mask attached to a CPAP machine which blows air up my nose to keep my flabby throat from closing. It's true ( Read more... ) -
Hazy Days
I saw a little sun today, which is encouraging. The last six days have been so hazy with smoke; it really has been awful. There are a lot of Northern California fires, but none too near us. My 4 Car Pile-Up
Coming home from work the other day the traffic stopped very suddenly on the freeway. I stopped, the car behind me stopped, but the next two cars couldn't stop. Car #2 was pushed into me so hard it went under me and lifted me up. The rear of my car went up on its hood and my rear tire smashed in his windshield. Silmarillion
