Am I the only one who finds it hilarious that the US went to war with Iraq on 'maybe they got weapons' info but is now refusing to do so with Iran, claiming 'diplomacy is the best answer' because of the same 'maybe they got em' info?

They just can't afford another unwanted war with Bush being down at 30-something percent popularity.

While I could say "Hey, the administration is learning their lesson!"

... it's really just because they know that they're going to get fucked the next time elections roll around...

The problem with having the majority in both the house and senate, and control of the executive branch of government means that it's all your parties fault when things go wrong for people.

That's why I said "administration" and not "president"

You know, the people that are still hoping to have a career in politics after this.

But Iran is supporting suicide bombings. *shifty eyed* I 'declassifed' my papers. See it's true.

0_o Well, Rumor has it Iran should announce some 'good' news soon. *Shrugs*

personally if it was just for 'power' why are they refusing UN inspectors. If the US is gonna go after them, they'll probably use their allies.. though tested as they are after the Iraq thing. Besides, the Iraq, Iran.. it's 1 letter off... and isn't it part of the axis of evil?

And aren't they adjacent? I mean, the 'woops, so you *didn't* have WMDs' thing worked with one, I'm sure the 'woops, thought you were that *other* Ira- place filled with fuckin' Ay-rabs' would work... I mean, right? RIGHT???

I think they 'meant' to hit Iran, but someone messed up the keyboard. Who knows...

People often miss the fun stuff with war. Like switching out the word "French" with "Freedom" so we can all eat Freedom fries and then have passionate Freedom kisses! I think that it's a shame for the fun to stop there tho. We should swap out all the Q's for N's and N's for Q's.

"Oh hey, Graphicgreeq! How ya beeq? Qice weather, eh?" And that song "WAR!" What is it good for? "Absolutely Qothiqg!" would be like a qew pro-war aqthem. And theq of course, Bush could go back to doiqg whatever he freakiqg waqted agaiq....:/
