Oh darling, I love this! Such wonderful McGonagall. Bittersweet and beautiful and poignant.

And: The Healer’s voice trembles slightly. ‘I did not become a Healer to see children die, Minerva. I was supposed to save them.’

Owowow.

That the only way for this to happen was to let go.

This was absolutely perfect.

Oh my stars and garters, Red, this is too beautiful for words. You had my heart at She hoped they would understand that they were learning ethics and critical thinking when the Transfiguration Act was required and in what form it was needed. She hoped for them to understand that Transfiguration was more, so much more than molding the environment to one’s magical will, and held it until the very end.

There are no words to describe how beautiful this is.
I cried and rejoiced with Minerva.
This is without a doubt one of the best post-DH fics I have read.
Thank you so much.

Oh wow! Seriously, Julie, WOW!!!! That is so just amazing! I can literally see McGonagall doing this, thinking these things, feeling so helpless and then sucking it up and doing what she has to do.

So beautifully done!!!!!!!
