I hit a patch of black ice on Friday night and actually broke a bike helmet for the first time. I feel like I am not so good at balancing my life to avoid burnout. I overwork myself like crazy - I clocked hours eight days in a row in my last pay period, and so far now I've worked 4 days, performed and presented a workshop at a conference at UBC, am working tomorrow and then probably Monday to friday again.
