Yamashita's confusion over his life's direction, his relationship with Jin and Jin's conflicting emotions and behavior is well written.

In one chapter it was like a ray of emotions and feelings being poured out by both parties.

I cannot wait for it to be revealed how come Jin spared Pi and what will happen to Pi.

I find it interesting that Pi in the end finds peace when in admits his situation .... "he is a coward who knew nothing of honour". It was as if he had finally be free of the shackles which bound him all his life.
