The transmission in T's car is shifting roughly around third gear. It is even worse when the car tries to down-shift from fourth to third to climb a hill. I checked the transmission fluid level, and it seemed a bit low, so I checked the manual that came with the car only to find that the required fluid is no longer made! Very irritating. I have the privilege of parking in the executive garage all this week. My ID badge is encoded so that the doors will open at my command. To all of my local friends, this will come as no shock. To my non-local friends, it is cold. My boss just ordered me to increase the overtime hours that I worked this weekend on my time card... it was a very surreal episode.

My computer, phone, files, and person are finally all in the same place at the same time... after 3 weeks I am finally moved completely into my new office!

My computer was dismantled for most of the morning as they prepared abortively to move it 3 times.

Work time.

The server team had some issues with the new firewall equipment. This means that they rolled everything back to the previous Cisco equipment, which means that all of the testing I did on Sunday morning was pointless.
