There are no words that suffice for this and for what you're feeling. But let me at least say that I'm incredibly sorry for your loss, and that if you ever need me I'm here. *many hugs*

Fiona, there are such tears streaming down my face right now I can hardly see to type.
This is a memorial your mum, wherever she really is, would be proud of.
When you hit the states, I'm giving you a hug first thing. Very, very first thing.

Thanks so much. I'm sure you can understand how important it was to me to do this justice.

This is so sad. I have no wise words to say. My mom died in 2001 and suffered from dementia, but she always knew who I was. Sometimes this was unfortunate as she was so hostile and difficult, which complicated her care immensely. I wish you all the best in your future journey with her. Hugs, sleo

Thanks, Sleo. as far as I can see, everyone's experiences of dementia are totally different and hence so hard to predict. I'm sorry to hear about your mom and thank you for your kind thoughts.
