cant sleep.

Love came to my door at 4 in the morning wearing boxing gloves. 
I'm too lazy to fight a battle that isn't mine. 
Too busy to humor a bully.
Too selfish to carry a cross.

i'm not a little girl anymore.
i've played this game a thousand times before.
there are winners and losers of war
and winner takes all.
and so, i'm showered in glory and good karma.
you can't take that away from me anymore.

so how does it feel to be in love and be ignored?
i wouldnt know the feeling.

i couldn't sleep. 
i went outside and smoked a cigarette but it didn't help.
it made my hair smell bad.
one day my teeth will rot out of my head and i'll still eat rock candy and redbull.
its not in my nature to learn from mistakes.
i talk to myself when i can't fall asleep.
bore myself with every insignificant detail of the day.
