I'm sitting at my favorite coffee shop on Main st. This guy just came in and asked the lady behind the counter if it was an exciting day "on the island". That's awesome. I sometimes forget I live on an island. It's so big it's forgettable. As a side note my newest carreer plans are to become a writer. If for no other reason then I wouldn't complain ( Read more... ) -

I ran 13.1 miles yesterday in 2 hours and 21 minutes. How amazing is that?

So my eye is really swollen. The top lid is all red and puffy. It hurts alot and my eye feels like it's the size of a tennis ball. I woke up thismorning and it was just like that. I have no idea how it came about ( Read more... ) -

This mornings sermon was right up my alley. In fact it's the clearest God has spoken to me for awhile. The text was in Exodus 15 and 16 which was when the Israelites are grumbling in the desert. In answer to Ben
I think Ben said some interesting things about people stating their religious views as 'Jesus' or something along those lines on Facebook. It's a trend I've also noticed and participated in as well. I don't see this as being due to the fact that I don't want to be know as a Christian. As a follower of Christ being a Christian is my primary identity ( Read more... ) -
I thought I knew
I thought I knew what I wanted this year to look like. I thought I could do things and I thought I knew how they were supposed to look. Now I have no idea. I don't know what comes next. I guess the world is wide open so to speak. I found that running was the easy way out and that what is being asked of me is far bigger than that. I know it won't be ( Read more... )
