Wow. Woooow. Fantastic. Great job emotionally, and with descriptions, and realism. Loved Ollie, loved that you didn't try to sugarcoat Roy - he's not going about this the smartest way, letting his pride get in the way, and it's sometimes unreasonable. You didn't shy away from that.

It's a relief to know that you didn't find my characterization of Roy, I don't know, too much, to extreme maybe, to the point you couldn't read it. Because I felt like it could sort of be taken that way, but then that's the point of this piece.

Anyway, thanks!

Wow, this fic is a punch in the gut, totally leaves you breathless and in pain. But I mean that in the most complimentary way possible - you really got under my skin with it, grabbed hold and made me feel. The rewind device was really effective, definitely added to the sense of Roy losing himself in the drug and the withdrawal. Incredible stuff.

I was so worried about the rewind device and the nonlinear timeline because even though I know what's going on I wasn't sure if it was annoying or confusing to everyone else. Glad you ended up liking that part.

Really? Was the gut punch at the end really necessary? No it wasn't. Because that hurt.

And then I read the whole piece again only to regret it because this is really depressing.

Regardless, this whole thing is powerful. It's amazing how broken Roy is just so angry; that screams 'possible reaction of Roy Harper when he is stripped of power'. And my heart breaks for Ollie because he's just trying to help and be supportive, but, uh, Roy's not having any of that. Also drugs. Golly I can't elaborate on how I feel about that.

Nonlinear timelines are always fun unless executed poorly, but I liked the way you handled it. Your approach was effective and not altogether confusing so, y'know, that's a thumbs up.

Yay and thank you for wasting your life on casual non-meme requests because the rest of us get to reap the benefits.

Oh Roy, my heart broke a bit for him. Too much to fill the role of s side-kick anymore, but not yet ready to go it alone, my favorite archer had to learn the hard way. I just want to, I don't know, cry a little bit or go hug my little brother. Probably both. Thank you for at least letting Ollie be there for him in the aftermath.

Great job with the flip flopping time frames, they worked wonderfully together. Poor Roy, this just makes you want to hug him and slap him all at once.
