Not having a boyfriend doesn't mean you suck. Why would it? It just means the right guy hasn't come to sweep you off your feet yet. Everyone has been on the recieving end of negative criticism. It's not healthy if you always get good feedback because then you wouldn't know how to improve or how to deal with negative comments when you get them. Yes, Osean would be happy if I were dead. We hate each other right now. And so would my ex and Pillsbury Doughboy. David because I was a total bitch to him in the last email I wrote and he never wrote back, which is good because I never want to see his face again, and PD because he is out to get me. And there is a guy who I want to be my boyfriend, but he leaves for college after this summer. But he's going to Cornell, which is in Mt. Vernon, which isn't too far from IC. I want us to be able to hang out together. He's very sweet, and I think we'd be perfect for each other. The only reason I made this post was because I felt really emo and suicidal. I don't feel that way now. So try not to worry about me.
Chris Roberts has been a much better friend than you've been lately. He thinks I am special and talented, and I didn't even have to ask him if he thought I was. He said it on his own. He wants to spend time with me, he listens to my problems, and I listen to his. You don't want any of those things.
Volunteering really isn't my thing. I volunteered at the library because my mom made me, and I HATED it because there was nobody my age there. All the people who were volunteering were way older than me. And the only people I really want to help out are my parents and grandparents. My parents because I'm in the family and it's my duty, and my grandparents because they are old and need help. Sometimes I don't like it, but I do it anyway.
I don't want to lose you as a friend. But Chris R is being a much better friend than you. I don't want to lose you, but start being a better friend. And if you don't join my group, fine. I already know you are on my side.
Not all volunteering is like volunteering at the library. I wish you would help out with Student Senate a little more by volunteering with us instead of just saying that it isn't your thing. It can be your thing if you give it another chance. Plus, when you volunteer with Student Senate, there is guaranteed to be someone else your own age and that you know there. Why do you only want to help out people you know? Some strangers would really need and love a helping hand that you could lend. Volunteering is a great way to spend your time and it can open so many doors in your life. I wish you would give it another chance. That's cheesey, but true.
I do help out with Student Senate, like I help plan the dances and stuff, and next year I get to help plan prom, that'll be a lot of fun! But some of the stuff I don't do because it either doesn't strike my fancy, or it conflicts with other activities I have. For example, the Oaknoll fashion show I couldn't do because of my cousin Chris's graduation. I'm going to be involved in GLOW again, Student Senate, hopefully Women's Ensemble, Paint n' Patches, Yes Shame, Studio Series, and hopefully the play and musical next year. And maybe by next year I'll be a thespian (I don't know how many points makeup crew is worth, but I know you have to get 10 points to be a thespian, I'll talk to Doug about it). And I'll also hopefully have a paying job. I want a job where you earn money, cuz I need money for prom next year, and for college. So I don't even know how I can work out volunteering for other stuff through student senate if it conflicts with one of my other activities. And I don't want to sacrifice everything. And I also am
