Okay... um.... HOLY SHIT.

So, not only was it one of the most engaging parties I've ever thrown, I had more close friends show up than not, which is awesome, since... I don't know... meeting "the community" has provided an infintite number of "close friends" who never show up to events I throw... but I didn't care. I'm glad that such an amazing time was had by all. It sounded like a blast. I just didn't have the mental fortitude to attempt the drive to Long Beach in the rain without Brad. I am teh suck.

I'm very glad that we came. I had a great time seeing everyone again and getting to meet new folks and it was good to get to talk (one of those instances, I think, in which the hour and the alcohol and the atmosphere simply made things easier when they needed to be). So yes--a lot of fun and a really positive experience. Thank you!

And we should have coffee/dinner again. We're setting this weekend aside for finally trying to get the loft looking more like home, but maybe a weeknight or next week?

Coffee/dinner sounds great. I'm taking a Metaphysics class at State on Tuesday nights, so while Taco Tuesdays are probably out unless we eat early or late, I *do* think I have next Monday and next Thursday open, if you want to hang out.
