Just as I was really getting psyched up to write more in LJ... the urge kind of dissipated. 
Part of me wants to go and find a host of new people's LJ's to read... see if the encounter with new minds and new points of view rejuvenates the draw to the thing for me. Another part wants to just PDF the journal and close up shop, either ending the whole ( Read more... )

So, not only was it one of the most engaging parties I've ever thrown, I had more close friends show up than not, which is awesome, since... I don't know... meeting "the community" has provided an infintite number of "close friends" who never show up to events I throw... but I didn't care.
