Today I waged a valiant war against the himalayan blackberries and ivy that were running amok beneath my stairs. What I thought would amount to a garbage can or so of vines quickly turned into a truck load. Seriously. Looks like everyone will be able to make the 7:15 showing of Bettie Page at Harvard Exit on Saturday. Unless anyone objects, I would say that we just meet there at 7:00 (I for one will buy my ticket in advance).

The movie is playing at Harvard Exit theater on Saturday at 2:00, 4:45, 7:15 and 9:35. Anyone interested in going on Saturday?

I'm kind of curious to see The Notorious Bettie Page which comes to Seattle on April 21st.

I've never actually been inside the EMP, generally thinking that it would be a huge waste of money, but right now they have Paul Allen's personal art collection on exhibit and the entrance fee is only $8 (much more, of course, if you want to see the other exhibits, but I think I'll pass). Anyway, anyone else interested?

I bought and new printer and have a gently used Canon BC-01 black ink cartridge that I no longer need. Does anyone have a compatible printer?

Fell into bed at 10:00pm last night... woke up at 9:00am and called in sick to work. This day has consisted of accomplishing small tasks and then having to go lie down for awhile. It's really annoying. A whole day off and I can't even really do anything. I'll have to go to work tomorrow, cause another day holed up in my studio and I will go

So I signed up to take a course on Vector Graphics at Cascadia Community College, (handily located just across from where I work) and I foolishly assumed they'd be teaching us to use Adobe Illustrator. Turns out we're actually going to be learning to draw with Macromedia Freehand MX, which I had never even heard of. So, a question for the geeks ( Read more... )
