Going to work actually boosted my morale today, apart from having to deal with the deputy store manager, whom I call the "Wicked witch of the West".

A customer came up and said that he thought, out of all the sales assistants, that I am the most customer service oriented.

It's nice to know I'm appreciated somewhere.

That stuff feels good, does it not? Nice not to be taken for granted, especially when you go above and beyond the work requirements. I'm lucky in that my coworkers are generally good with praising for good work.
