Just walked in the door with the Bostonians and we're all preparing dinner. Jason walks up and tells us that an opportunity came up at work that would transfer him to Fort Wayne, Indiana for 2-12 months. I nearly fell over in my chair.

I'm savoring my last few moments of the last day at my job. The good bye lunches and parties are over, the holiday cards all went out, and most of my assignments are all wrapped up. My desk is covered in spreadsheets for my one last assignment but all my picture frames are packed away. The director sent me a very nice letter about my work ( Read more... )

Jason is up here in Gainesville packing and moving with me for the weekend.

On weekends I try to wake him up shortly after I wake up. He throws fits, he calls me names, and he will sneak back into bed the moment I turn my back. He's a very stubborn man.
