School work has been INSANE the last two weeks, and I feel like LJing about it becomes perilously close to whining like a baby. I'll give a short point-form summary, though, because I'm not above whining for posterity's sake.

It's been a pretty empty week considering I woke up with the flu on Monday morning and spent the entire week in bed. I don't even remember Monday, I was so feverish. So I've turned 24 and I really don't want to think about it. I don't feel very old - in fact, I'm not sure if I've grown emotionally since the age of 15. I still feel horrified when people my age have babies, get married, buy houses, but really it's me who has the problem. It is entirely acceptable for a 24 year old to do all those things. I have cararacts in my left eye. I'm sure by next week I'll have forgotten and then in 40 years they'll finally develop and I'll be like "wtf, cataracts?" but for now I'm minorly freaking out about it. This weekend I moved into Ryan's room and took over his furniture. The walls are the same color blue as my old room, only a bit chipped. Could use some touchups, but it's not a big deal. Overall, I'm uber happy about the move.
