I always thought it must be weird to have a live creature wiggling about inside your belly all day.

Turns out it is.

I am sitting here watching my stomach moving like something out of Aliens. It's going to jump out any minute.

Nick and I are at a loss for male-type names. Currently it is Pedro. Pedro the parasite.

First patient: New OB. Excited couple, it's kid #3, planned. You'd be surprised (or maybe not) at how uncommon planned pregnancy is. I go through her whole history, talk about her delivery plans (repeat cesarean), talk about her other kids. She had some cramping early on, no bleeding. We went to out favorite little Mexican retaurant this evening. They know us and remember what we like. Today I ordered their delicious Mango margarita (really, i think they just stick a Mango and some tequila in a blender) and she gave me the extra from the blender in a cup on the side.
