See, last year I wrote this looooong smooshy post about my darlin’ Soully - Meg [strangecreature] and well I wanted to do something the same and more this year

Just adding a little note to say I hope Meg likes them, and I spent a good, what, 6 hours or so reading these over and basically doing what I'd do in workshopping them for Nora. I read slash for you Meg! I don't read slash!

Anyway, yes, it's a week early and I'm sure I'll say it again next week, but Happy Birthday Meg!

Didn't want to leave feedback when I'd just read most of them that day or the day before. Now they're kinda like new. Old favorites revisted, like.

I have to say, for three days of writing these, you manage to pack in all the of the emotions that you want into these ficlets. Every last one of them is quality fiction. You really spent a lot of time and effort on these (yeah, I know three days!) but it was for such a good person.

And squee! I can't stop picturing Chase in the kitchen. *g*

Lindsey/Angel - Want

Oh god. Y’know, it’s scenes like this that always make watching that episode such a disappointment for me. I get to the last scene and I’m always like, “The hell? Where’s the goodbye sex up against the truck kiss? I *know* there’s a goodbye kiss!” You better watch out… you keep writing those two so scorchingly well together and I’m gonna keep bopping you with that pairing for sbound! ;-D

“Go to hell.”

“I’ll take you with me.”

That probably wasn’t supposed to elicit a squeak of joy from me, but oh, it did. The L/A-addled brain apparently translates it as twistedly romantic. *G* Don’t even get me started on the ‘Beg, Lindsey thought’ line. Gah!

Lindsey/Darla - Reminders

Oh man, if these ficlets are all this good? I’m going to be a puddle of fangirl-goo (which sounds oddly like a dish you might get at a shady oriental restaurant…) by the end of this

1 - I knew you'd love it *beams* I had to write it for you, it was going to be a small blip but well...didn't happen.
2 - Laugh, this was the first one that I wrote. lol.
3 - I loved hinting around this one and playing it off. it's kinda an off shoot to ABE. And i thought that Tara getting inked was something different. hehe

Lindsey/Lilah - Evil Dealings

I still adore that first sentence! Ha! (And bearing in mind what you said earlier about it not fitting the tone of the ficlet… I don’t know. Look at it again after you’ve read it once and it fits, with a twist. Before reading it, you figure it’s some else’s blood. Read through it once and you know that it’s theirs.)

Aw. Beautiful description of their arrangement. The kind of thing that starts with promises not to get too intimate and ends up almost more vulnerable-making when the guards finally do come down. Little bit of hurt/comfort, evil lawyer style. I really do like those two as a functional pairing, but you already knew that. *g*

Lindsey/Eve - Dependant

…trying to attempt to soothe him even though she wasn’t really sure how. She wasn’t programmed that way.Man, you could’ve given me just that sentence and I still would’ve grinned. Perfect description of Eve. She’s trying, but that wasn’t who she was created to be. Awesome

4 - They are so good together. I love working with them in our games. Seriously. I love how the tone of the fic changed as I wrote it. It's obvious that Lilah was abused sexually but that isn't the focus of the fic at all.
5 - That was what I loved about writing this one, I wanted to have that twist. *beams*
6 - Only for you would I write this! As Christine said, Lindsey's a whore. He's like Chicken, he goes with everything. hehe.
7 - *wins* I was so anxious about this one, it's sad. lol. And these are as full fledged as they get...like which ones did you have in mind?

4 - Prrrecisely. I liked that you hinted, but didn't draw that out in all its gory detail. You know where to shine the spotlight, in my humble opinion, and that's cool.

Fresh Start (Lindsey/Tara) and Bound (Lindsey/Faith)... she says, without the slightest bit of hesitation. Ha! And that's just of the ones I've read so far. Greedy, greedy Megan! X-D Those two in particular just seem to beg for a scene or two more.(Or maybe that's me doing the begging...)

Where would you like me to go with the Lindsey/Tara?
I don't think there's any way to get more out of me with that Faith/Lindsey one 'cause that one was tooth and nail. I can't write Faith, don't tell me I can.
