Way to go Chris!!! I'm about to go work out myself. I had an acupuncture appointment yesterday and she suggested keeping a food/bloodsugar/energy/heartburn diary. Its kinda fun once you get started to have a log of stuff - but other times I just don't want to bother. But I am SO excited that i have been off of my heart burn meds for 2 days now and still no heartburn!! When do you get your results back about your thyroid and stuff?
I really want to go take a nap right now *yawns* but I know that if i take a nap I will only be more tired when i get up than I am now... where as if i get my butt over to the gym I will feel much more energetic afterward. Which is good. 'Cause I have a softball game tonight! (Go figure! I joined the company team. Most of us are really really amateur so I fit in okay... but sometimes its down right scary!)...

Yep, that was my first acupuncture treatment. I figured, if I'm going into Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, I should at least try acupuncture first. I essentially have reflux disease... they don't know what caused it... but they don't know what causes it in most people (and a lot of people have it these days)... The acupuncture didn't really hurt at all. it was very relaxing, and the whole needle thing happened quickly. The needles are uber skinny... 1/10 of the size of the needles I use for my shots. and their bendy. I had them in my feet, hands, knees, and the crook of my elbow. Then you just relax for about 20 minutes with them in there and they help balance out your qi or energy... its a bit like circulation. When you have stagnant energy it causes issues that can manifest as all sorts of illnesses. I'm on day 3 with out my meds and I feel great! I haven't been able to go with out meds for my heart burn in months! She also did some vibration/ sound therapy on my tummy.. she placed this big heavy bronze (?) bowl on my tummy and ( ... )
