Especially when I have ignorant bigots like Bob Katter as countrymen. This wanker has been a wart on the arse of Australian politics for years but now, he's formed his own party. The Australia Party. His platform is family values and his latest campaign ad tells all of us family-orientated Aussies that it's okay to discriminate against same-sex ( Read more... )

I never took Katter to be a Hansen clone but now I have absolutely no respect for him at all. Whomever is running his campaign should take a long hard look at the diversity in his electorate, and have a quiet word to him that he has lost whatever respect he may have had from a good per cent of the communitites in the north.
Campbell and Kate are awfully quiet on this subject. Less than 15 days to go, and there has been shots fired and one members headquarters has been vandelised. Australian politics has definitily taken a turn for the worse.

What a lovely, lovely man! It has to be difficult to stand up to your brother in public that way, even if your brother is a total fucking rat bastard.

*many many snuggles to him*

*and you*

And you know, just like Dick Cheney and his daughter, I'll bet Bob Katter would say he had nothing against his half-brother. Nothing at all. I'm glad in this case that the brother isn't supporting this guy 'cause' its family.

Holidays must be very interesting at their house. Just saying.

If you have to emigrate, you can come stay with me. However, the state I live in has a bill up that means employers could dictate insurance as far as contraceptive care based on religious beliefs.
