I realized that with a 5 month tour, there would be no way I could fit all of Subaru`s entries into one entry of translations. So I am going to divide them by month. (^_^) ( Here are May`s entries)

Shooting for Janiben and a live appearance on a news program in the evening.

Today, I`m on location in Okinawa* for Mucha Buri.
But, it`s raining!!
It`s the rainy season!!
I hate the rain! It`s scary!!
But I`ll keep pushing forward.
Of course I`m tired~
We got here on the first plane, work hard, and go home!
Today I`m traveling with Murakami-kun. He`s whacked me a bunch of times! When I`m on location with him, I`m M.
Osaka --> Tokyo --> Niigata--> Osaka --> Tokyo --> Osaka --> Okinawa --> Tokyo --> Wakayama--> Kobe….
This is how it`s been lately.
Just where exactly am I going…
Ah! I thought that I was catching a cold, but after I slept, I woke up feeling like a million bucks~.
I`m doing fine!
But so busyyyyy~!!

There are many meetings, partings, love and lust,
but at that place, that moment, all of it is the real me.
Because I`m just not the kind of person who lies, or who can lie.
If it`s there, it`s there; if it`s not, it`s not, and that is who I really am.
I have no intention of hiding anything. From eighters, or from the world.
I feel that the relationship I have with eighters goes beyond little things like titles, and is something that is beyond explanation.
It might seem like I`m just giving you lip service, but it is really how I feel.
Because telling a lie is the thing that hurts me the most.
So, in the end, I cannot deny people who think it is fine to only be around those who understand and think the same as them.
Whatever people say, or think, or do,
I`ll keep singing about my love for all of you.
This clumsy, awkward way of living is the only way I know to go, but that is Shibutani Subaru.
I just can`t lie, no matter how hard I try.
I want to keep on living it real.

It really had a `live show` feel to it!

Something new that I felt today.
It feels the best when Okura`s drum sings.
The sound of his drum is warm, sweet, sharp, strong, and full of heart.
Okura`s drum is the best.
And I think that is how a true live show feels.

Today we are filming.
During our lunch break, Nikkido-kun*, Yasuda Shota, and I went to the aquarium.
It was so much fun because we even got to see the whale show~
The picture is a penguin.**
It was really fun to go to the aquarium for the first time in a long time!
I want to go again~.

It`s been a while since the last show in Fukui.
The place was much bigger than the last one, wasn`t it?
When I got to Fukui, I remembered that last year, as soon as the Fukui show was over, we got on a bus for a 7 hour bus ride to Tokyo, and then did the show with Okura at the International Forum.
Doing two shows at once.
I was very happy.
This time, Fukui was a lot of fun, and very fulfilling.

Maru`s hometown!
For a concert, this is a first.
At the MC, Yoko-chan and Murakami (1 time) said it, but a long time ago, we did a play here, but that`s all for Kyoto.
There`s no mistaking it, Kyoto!
I think each prefecture really does have it`s own feel and color.
Our first time in Kyoto had kind of a unique feel to it. I`m not really sure how to describe it, but…
Kyoto! It felt like a show in Kyoto. It was a great show.
I definitely want to do another show in Kyoto!
The atmosphere of the venue was great too, I really liked it.
Oh yeah, let`s go to Kyoto.

Kanjani8`s concerts are, without thinking, a fun time from a simple heart and full of laughter, and also the time that I love the most.
Something that I have thought a lot lately, is that I want to still be doing the Eito Rangers even when I am 30.
Anyone can look cool.
Good or not good are separate things.
And in that, the interesting things, the things that only we can do…THAT is what the Eito Rangers are.
30 year old Eito Rangers. It`s so awesome it gives me the shivers.
From this point on, I`m going to work my hardest to be that awesome old man!
The Eito Rangers will go on forever! Definitely!
If they ever disappeared from our concerts, things would really get boring…
Even if we temporarily change to a different skit, I don`t think the Eito Rangers will go away.
So even if we become crotchety old men, I still want to bust out in that helmet!
Even if I have to use a cane, I want to wear that suit and act like a moron!
That`s being a REAL man!
There`s no other way of life that is that cool and fantastic!
You can`t do this normally! And we do it!
YES!
We are so lucky!
There is no doubt in my mind that the Eito Rangers will become a National Treasure, and continue protecting the country.
You might think that I am just messing around, but I am dead serious about what I am writing!
It would be great if we became something like `The World Renowned Kanjani8`.
All of the stoplights would have 7 colors, streets would be 7 colors, bullet trains and airplanes, huge skyscrapers, the uniforms of beef bowl restaurant employees, hospital beds, floors and ceilings, the Statue of Liberty, Arc de triomphe, The Great Wall and all the stairs leading up to it…
EVERYTHING should be 7 colors!!!!!!!!!!!!
