SO I get down to the welding place at 8:30 this morning to get the mirror mounts welded, expecting the guy to do it there and then (He'd told me I'd have to stick around to take the fairing off for him after he'd done the initial tack welds of the mounts), and he goes 'ok, you can pick it up around 4'.. So i went into Allards paints in Fyshwick today to see about getting black and blue (colour matched) for the ZZR, and got quite a surprise.. Apparently 2-pak has changed heaps since I last saw it used (~1996?), and you just spray it on like normal paint now!
