Some kind people, including my mother and law and a certain very kind Ringgamer couple, have offered enough money together that we can rent Century Hall.

We can have whomever we want at the wedding.

Oh! Sweetie! If I knew it was just pulling together the cash for a bigger venue, that would have been a piece of cake! I thought you were in some way attached to the smaller venue! Let me know if they need another to pitch in and I'm happy to make that part of my wedding gift!

It was free, and we're going to be scraping just to pay the pastor and license fees and to put a little food into the pot luck. I wasn't happy with the venue at all, but I didn't feel like I could do anything about it, you know?

I don't think we need another to pitch in? My mother in law put in half as her wedding gift, and my friend Beth put in the other half. (I think more people than Beth were involved, but I'm not sure.) Both parts are already on their way; I just need to contact Century Hall on Monday and put some money from our emergency fund down to hold it until the checks arrive. Thank you, though! <3

I'm hoping I'll be able to do the same day! I don't want to have to call people and explain, after they've taken vacation to travel here, that it'll be a different day.
