Doing better. My back is more of a continuous ache that waxes and wans throughout the day. I have exercises from PT that I do daily, and I'm doing my best to do them well, not just as throw aways. So, I had my MRI. I actually fell asleep during it and managed to drool on myself. I thought I'd be really stressed with how close it was, but I just kept my eyes shut the entire time, and I was fine. 46 days to the wedding! :)

Some kind people, including my mother and law and a certain very kind Ringgamer couple, have offered enough money together that we can rent Century Hall.

We can have whomever we want at the wedding.

I just cried hard enough to scare the dog.

Things are improving. My parents have electricity, phone, water, and yesterday got hot water back, and we spent most of today mucking out the basement. I pushed the muck into piles, Dad shoveled into buckets, my brother brought the buckets upstairs, Mom emptied and rinsed said buckets and sent them back. We're having flooding.

My parents' place flooded. There's four feet of water in the basement, along with the furnace and, you know, all the stuff that runs their houses.

I don't know what we're going to do. I don't think they had flood insurance... they're not in a flood plain or near even a stream.

Yesterday was Baron and my Four Year Anniversary.

It's a small number, but it makes me so happy. I was sure, for years, that I'd never find someone for me, that I would be sick and alone forever.

Instead, I have a partner who loves, supports, understands me.

That's a lot to be glad about!

Our closing is at 10 on Friday. We'll have a little us and parents' party that night, and then the cleaning begins prior to moving.
