Today was a really low key day. I am still recovering form a really hard case at work yesterday. Everything turned out fine, and yet I see a place I could have done better, and so have worked on not engaging in too much self-castigation. Today i went to the farmer's market with mom. B of A on their website had a retirement calculator. I ma 58 and until last November, when I started working for a hospital system, I worked in non-profit agencies. Today I got tickets for my mom and I to go to Las Vegas in late September to meet the newest addition to the family, my first grandchild, my son and daughter in law's little girl. This morning I woke up without a sense of balance. This resulted in my scooting down the stairs, and when I tried to eat some oatmeal, throwing it up. It also resulted in my mother pushing me around in a wheelchair because i could not walk more than a foot or two, and an urgent care appointment to make sure I hadn't had a stroke.
