Yesterday at work basically felt like I spent the day in a psych emergency room, which I pretty much did. Today was a day off, and I took my mother and elder son to the beach. Tonight my mother is going to a funeral service for a friend who died and who was to year older than her. The friend had been in the hospital a few times in the last month with stomach problems, but seemed to be alright. Today has been long and lazy, and a delight.
