Yesterday, I went to Sherwood Forest with friends. It was a lovely, lovely day (although a little windy, and a lot dusty). I've been involved in a debate on a different forum the past few days about principles. It started out with a story where an employer asked an applicant for their FB password. the winding down of the weekend
This was a weekend spent with friends, and I loved it. There was also the usual amount of chores and such that needed getting done, plus I carved out quiet time. But I had something every night, a little unusual for me.

ConDFW wrap-up
I just got home from ConDFW. Much fun was had this weekend. Today was relatively low-key. I hung out with the Simpsons while they ate breakfast. I was meeting some local Dallas friends for sushi brunch at 11, which was tasty. It's been a full day of conning. Started out with a quick breakfast, and then instead of going into a panel, I decided to hit up the Dealer's Room. ConDFW, Day 1
I was up until around 1:30 last night, but I didn't have to get up early, so I wasn't concerned. I managed to sleep until around 6:30 when I woke up, staggered around looking for allergy medicine, then fell back asleep until 9:30. The weekend is nigh upon me, because I will be driving tomorrow to Dallas for ConDFW. I didn't make it last year, because it was the weekend after I got back from my trip to New York, and I was broke and didn't want to travel so soon again. A bad start to the day
I was supposed to drive up to Arlington this afternoon to participate in the Texas ETD (Electronic Theses and Dissertations) Association meeting tomorrow on the UT Arlington campus.
