The State of my Ear
I haven't talked about my ear for a while, although it continues to be an Thing I have to deal with. This morning, I woke up around 4 with mild vertigo. Ironic, because last night I was feeling pretty confident. Anytime I get to feeling confident about my Ear Thing, it reminds me I shouldn't. Last night, I had a dream that has left me feeling very unhappy this morning. I was walking somewhere, only I wasn't quite sure I knew where I was going. In the dream, I knew I had a destination, and it felt imperative I get there, I just didn't quite know how to get there. So I walked.

Me, 3 days post-surgery
It's been 3 days since my surgery. I think I'm doing relatively well. The pain hasn't been so bad that I needed to take the narcotic. I probably should have the first night, I might have slept better than I did ( Read more... ) -
Pre-op/post-op
Had my pre-op appointment this morning. I had a little bit of anxiety just before going in, to the point where my asthma flared up. Happily, that's what albuterol is for. I got there a little early and was given a sheet that discusses the risks of the procedure so I could sign the consent form. I also got my allergy shots ( Read more... ) -
