It's definitely a week for good news... in the last few days my brother has been offered a job, my best mate has been offered a promotion, two sets of friends have got engaged... waiting for the cloud that goes with this silver lining...

There's been a lot of news lately on a new treatment for MS that seems to help even those poor sods with the primary progressive form of the disease (which doesn't respond to existing drugs to reduce the chance of relapses). It's a non-drug treatment to improve venous blood flow, based on work by an Italian doctor who found out that people with MS ( Read more... )

Loads of thanks to everyone - I've met the minimum sponsorship requirement to run with the MS Society fundraising team and raised my goal - friends and family have been v generous and I haven't even started hassling colleagues yet. Spent lunch at the gym, coz I really need to get in better shape for this!
