Just too tired and it as a long day...I don't know that I've really gotten past the BS with the dog yet and then I was out running errands last night and didn't get home and to bed early enough. When my Dad was sick... 6 years ago and needed quadrupal bipass.. Chestnut Hill Hospital wanted to send him to Mercy. I flat out said NO! Then gave them a list of places that would be acceptable. They said they didn't know if there would be any beds. I told them to let me know and I'd make a few calls; he's not going to Mercy. They must have thought I knew some high up people... Welll... I did know one... only the head of Cardiology at Chestnut Hill Hospital (he was the father of one of my former students :-) I didn't need to pull in a favor though. They sent him to Presbiterian where he got excellent care. (I didn't want to risk Temple's neighborhood)

Hey a little birdy tells me you are going to the farm this weekend to set up camp. Can you see if the kitchen is still standing? (I hope it is, we left a lot of stuff in it last year, including the most important piece of camping equipment, the coffee pot!) THANKS
