We spent Monday-Thursday at the farm...almost no one else there and the weather was awesome! It actually got cold Monday night! So, I guess I haven't posted but life is status quo... I'm still stable, I'm cancer free, we're doing paperwork for the adoption process, I'm working weird hours, and I'm writing. CANCER FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got the PET results today and I'm clear and clean! I know, I still need regular checks and rechecks and it isn't a forever finding but it is for a fabulous start to forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

I had my first PET Scan today since my treatments ended. Now I cross everything I can cross and wait for results. A lot hinges on this test for me...I mean, yeah, my life for one  thing! I feel symptom free though and I'm going with that feeling.
I'll post results when I know 'em...in the meantime I'm going to nap and write for a while.

Finished my first full week at the branch I'm trying to post into to yesterday. Mostly good stuff too- kind of slow during the week but it will vary based on factors like weather, holidays, time of month and all the usual standards. I have an interview tomorrow morning to get into a branch on a permanent basis! YAY! Its the MacDade branch so its good and busy and so close I can come home for lunch every day! Almost no commute time, easy access to stores on the way home if we need groceries and such. Very cool! Yay! Hopefully I get it..more as I know

The woman I'm working with knew damn well that I had to make it to Fox Chase from Mercy of Philadelphia by 430pm today! She still screwed around enough so that I couldn't get out on time, ran a good 15 minutes behind schedule and thanks to traffic, missed the appointment!
