And somehow you made this pair work. I'm truly impressed.
Of course there were some brilliant bits as well. I suppose that Akaya never changes and Sasuke steals scenes as always.

Oh, I love how time seems to just flow forward in this fic! There's such a sense of life goes on, and it works so well. Sanada/Oishi is a pairing I've never even considered but it's sweet by the end, and as always, I love your portrayal of teenagers with their unthinking cruelty and overdramatization. It's very nice that's there's no real chance of them getting together until they're a bit older, since it means they're a bit more mature and gives them more of a chance- I know so few couples who are together who started as teens!

I really liked that Yukimura called Sanada at the end, and the parallels with Yagyuu & Niou; even Atobe was entertaining. As always, your Kirihara is bumbling and sweet until he's thoughtless (I like how you did the Sanada/Kirihara, because it worked very well in this fic, yet I doubt it could ever work long term- they'd kill each other or some spectators).

Sanada/Oishi was never, ever in a hundred years a pairing I'd consider either, except I thought "Hm..." one day, and the thought wouldn't leave. Plus, I was thinking of doing something not the usual Sanada pairings for once. Change things up a bit and all.

Completely agree with you that Sanada/Kirihara would only work in certain situations, and certainly never long term! There would be some domestic abuse, hair loss, and many, many holes punched in the wall otherwise!

That's definitely NOT how I expected it to end and I totally LOVED that. This is soooo AWWWWWW Ok. it notice sthat it's 1.07 am and that I'm drugged up by flu remedies, but... this was so IC and even though that it's made by small scenes, they're so descriptive in a very Sanada-ish *cough* non-descriptive *cough* way...

I felt so bad for Sanda the whole fic but I actually think that was like the BEST ending EVER and the only way Sanada could top XDDD .

This was really, really enjoyable, thank you!
