Weather
Last month the Midwest was hit by a series of floods. Last week an EF5 tornado demolished a town and killed two dozen people in Oklahoma. As I type this a tornado is on the ground near Amarillo, Texas. The Atlantic hurricane season is expected to be especially vicious this year. Gaming laptop advice
It looks like Windows 7 laptops will be hard to get in the near future, so I may have to buy a new one sooner than I'd like. (I'm not touching Windows 8 with a 10-foot pole, since it's a sad departure from everything I want a computer to be.) So that brings me to this question ( Read more... ) -

Tonight an airline apparently suffered a technical glitch that caused customers to get, and pay for, duplicate itineraries. That's an inconvenience to any affected customers (though at least it didn't wipe out half a billion dollars...), but in my own way I have a few thoughts ( Read more... ) -
