The surgery went ok... and he's currently in the ICU... but he's ok.

They're doing a biopsy on whatever they found. *crosses fingers*

It starts out like this:
My dad is sick. Quite sick, apparently. There's a blockage near his pancreas or gall bladder or something to that effect. It could be nothing.
It could be something.
He's having surgery on Thursday... thad be tomorrow.

I proved this quite well on Saturday night.

...I'll be 21 in 9 days.

We went out of our way to stop at the ice cream shop on Cocoa Beach. We really wanted that ice cream, Deeana was prepared to be late for work for it... We got there and were quickly reminded why we had passed it up before. Not a one of us had more than a dollar in cash, and they didn't take cards. Ha.

8. Days.

. . . 8 DAYS.

THERE ARE 8 DAYS UNTIL DEEANA AND I LEAVE FOR EUROPE. (and today is almost over!)

I. AM. SO. EXCITED.
I am not thinking of anything but this trip for the next 8 days.

AND THEN THE 7 DAYS AFTER THAT!!!

and I'm SURE for an extended period of time after that.
