...was perfectly lovely. Went to breakfast/lunch with Mom and Amanda. Then appointment about ADD meds with dear ol' Dr Mack. I took some this afternoon, and in some ways the difference is like night and day.  For example: I can sit through an episode of my favorite show without getting up to pace, or losing track of the plot. Well, 18 hours, a fully packed Chevy Lumina, and a $100 worth of UPS shipping later I am finally back in Naples.  I am increasingly less inclined to call it a home; it is rather just the town in which my family happens to take up residence.  I really can't see myself living in Florida ever again ( Read more... )

So Febbie Summer, for all intents and purposes, is over. I've turned in the last essay (The State of Hypothesis is Ptolemy's 'Almagest'), and had *da da DUNNNNN* my Don Rag. It went reasonably well; no surprises. The consensus: my flashes of interest show my talent and academic prowess--but I need to be more consistently involved in class. ( Read more... )
