Guy, this is supremely sappy crack, which is the best kind! I really liked it and not just because every other word made me think of Torqamy.

Torqamy??? Oh good God. I was suspicious that I had been listening to entirely too much Stars this week when I started writing this, but um, wow, now I'm thinking about it in that context, and that's shady and you may have a point there.

Well I for one am shocked by the connection that has been made here! Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that you'd write a generic fic with characters based on Torq and Amy. Never!

Yo, shut up, dude. They're playwrights! And if there is a connection, it was honestly subconscious if anything, and it's more like... the entire Stars-y idea than anything. :P

N'aw. Not crack-y, a little sappy. The kind of love that is complicated and simple because it just is and dude, I don't even know if I really believe this sort of love exists, but it's pretty sweet to see it mapped out, even if it's just on paper. N'awwwww.

You people! You're all so literal! It's about no one and everyone! And my brain is clearly more transparent to everyone else than it is to me, because I honestly wasn't thinking literally of Torqamy when I wrote this, although I'm sure the concept of Torqamy figured in figuratively in some form, since I've been musing on it of late. For real, I woke up one morning and there were two crazy characters in my head yelling at each other on top of their lungs and throwing papers at each other, and then the next second they were, like, lying in the snow together drunkenly proclaiming their soulmateship to each other. So I mean, sure, it could be them, but it could just as easily be, I don't know, two skaters who aren't together off ice, or two actors, or whatever.

I seem incapable of writing fiction that isn't a lot sappy. I'm pretty sure I believe this kind of love exists, but I'm not sure I believe it can actually exist for an extended period of time, because it's so combustible. It would explode very quickly, I think, but I like the idea ( ... )

I want to inject some fresh insight into the interpretation of this story.

I'd like to think that this is the dialogue that goes on in Whitey's head in regards to him and Feist. See, it couldn't really be about Feist and Whitey because Whitey clearly feels more strongly about Feist than she does about him. Oh, that and the fact that they don't really work/write together, he just wishes they did. So these are the kinds of thoughts that go through Whitey's head when he thinks of Feist and he sleeps with her setlist under his pillow to keep these imaginary dialogues going.
