The Rowdy Corner

Okay, haven't posted in awhile, I don't really know if I'm going to update this journal much anymore. But I did go to the Toronto FC home opener last week and had an awesome time. Here's some photos and clips to give you some idea of what the atmosphere was like (but really you have to be at the match to really get it).

I'm into going to a game one of these days/weeks/months, Mick! and will be in touch.

I don't need to get into the Beckham lottery, tho' :P

Sweet! Let me know when you want to go. Next weekend I have the U-20 Canada / Argentina friendly on Friday that I'm looking for someone to go with.

hey - nobody was supposed to know the lottery was fixed!

As for posting here, I just don't know if my rather rambling LJ style posts are worth continuing. I might just use it as an archive for actual article writing that I do. Hopefully more quality less quantity.

Fathers day tickets for Toronto FC retinal_strain May 28 2007, 23:40:15 UTC
A little belated response, but there is a match on Fathers Day (Sunday June 17, 1:00pm). As far as tickets I know some are reserved for match day, but you have to show up early to get them (like 9 in the morning!)

I also know of a couple fan ticket exchanges where people sell extra tickets for face value, but they are usually in the very loud, male, and boisterous (and yes, drunk) supporters sections.

You could also try your luck on ticketmaster or craigslist.

As for hanging out, that sounds like a great idea! And would you look at that, it's already after the 'next week' you didn't have any free time in. Perfect timing!
