Fancy Seeing You Here....

I've been considering the whole myspace friends concept. Heaps of people on myspace have loads of 'friends' who they dont actually know. Myspace is just a vanity show :P where you can display how popular you are by how many friends and comments you have... A way to show off how many friends you can put to a number. Who needs to actually know people who you can make people think you know lots of people! =D

I don't think it's invasive to find people, you're on myspace beause you want to be seen.

>_> don't mind me just randomly passing by..

I don't know if ALL people *want* to be found on MySpace. That certainly wasn't my intention. I only started a MySpace because a friend from interstate deleted her LJ and I wanted a way to keep in contact with her, plus my sister had one too and I thought it looked like a good way to fill in some time.

I have about 67 (*I think*) friends on my MySpace list. I know all of them in some way in real life, including the bands. I only add someone if I know them in real life, because I'm not in it for some stupid popularity contest. Plus, most people on MySpace are stoopid. I have added only the smallest percentage of them myself - most have found me. Most people are a little more obsessed with their MySpace page then I am...

MySpace is becoming quite a cultural phenomenon it seems.
