these are the things i will remember when i die:

the key to better relationships with people:
know that they are shit.  its okay, because you are shit too.  we are all shit, we all let each other down, and when you let go of all your expectations (with reason, because people cannot be expected to meet them) then you can be happy when they surprise you once in a while.

I really want for things to work out between us but every time we speak I feel like something's wrong.  I don't know which feeling I should heed, that one or the one that keeps me hanging on.
